We furnish the dealer with a proven newspaper ad to be
inserted in the dealer’s local paper the Saturday and Sunday before
we arrive. We interview candidates on Monday and Tuesday to include a
predictability profile analysis test. This is done offsite at a local hotel
meeting room. The training is also done at that same hotel. Candidates who
are qualified are sent to drug screening and background checks on the spot.
We take photographs and meet with your managers that Tuesday evening to
agree upon new hires.
Intense training begins on Wednesday. Product
knowledge training is done as homework. Testing is done on Friday
afternoon.
A meeting with all current salespersons can be held at
the dealers request on Friday morning in the dealership conference room.
The new salespersons are available to take ups on
Saturday, however we prefer that they not begin until Monday in
order that their first day, which will require much attention, not interfere
with your Saturday business. These green peas will be better prepared than
any new hire you have ever known, but they are still green, and as such,
will require some attention for a few days. Saturday is counter-productive
for that kind of attention.
A CD will be sent to the new hires every 60 days for 12
months. Online counseling will be available. In certain cases we will do
phone follow ups as needed. At the end of a 12 month period, which often
will have seen us back in the dealership for additional recruiting, you will
have a seasoned and very productive professional. Internet training is a
part of the 12 month follow-up.
